Description: Avocado is probably actually one of my favorite additions to any fresh salad. So much do, that it’s part of over a dozen salads on the blog including the two mentioned above plus a healthy taco salad, Mediterranean quinoa salad, smoked salmon salad, and more! This time, we’re going right back to the basics to really appreciate this antioxidant-rich, creamy, delicious ingredient.

Ingredents 3 Ingredients Avocado Salad Recipe

  • Avocado (7 medium)
  • Green Onion (1/2 cup )
  • Lemon Juice (2 tbsp )
  • Salt (1/2 tsp )
  • Ground Black Pepper (to taste )

Instructions to make 3 Ingredients Avocado Salad Recipe

Step #1

To cut avocados, cut each fruit in half and remove the pit (I abruptly stick sharp end of the knife into the pit and twist it)

Step #2

Then cut each half into 2-3 strips (depends how wide), peel and slice. This way avocado slices do not turn into a mush.

Step #3

In a large salad bowl, add avocados, green onion, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Stir gently with a wooden spoon and consume within next 5-6 hours. Great on its own, on a toasted pita or in a wrap.
